about catbird events
We LOVE all things local! And in 2016 Catbird Events was formed in order to bring the community opportunities to support, shop, and love LOCAL & HANDMADE. We have found over the years this is a wonderful way to partner with amazing small businesses, bring local artists & makers together with the community, and most importantly raise the awareness of the importance of supporting local, small & handmade!
Kristin is from Winston-Salem and has always been passionate about advocating for the importance of the arts. Her education and past work experience led her to her involvement with the arts on a more community level.
She started Catbird Art & Events in 2016 with a main focus to collaborate with local small businesses to organize fun vendor events that would allow the community opportunities to support local, small & handmade!
In her spare time she enjoys life with her husband, their twins & 2 dogs as well as teaching art for a national online school and spending whatever extra time she can gardening, digging in the dirt and finding her way to the beach.

Amy is from Winston-Salem. Kristin & Amy met after she signed up to participate in one of the events in 2016 and they became immediate friends! Amy has all sorts of experience with the vendor market world.
Madison has been a very familiar face at Catbird Events since 2016 because her mom "Soaps By Kelly" is a regular vendor! Madison is currently in high school and doing big things! We are excited to have Madison join the Catbird Team!
